About HTML and PDF files
- HTML
- HTML is the code that web pages are made of. It describes text, headings, tables and images, while CSS controls how they look.
- PDF (Portable Document Format)
- PDF files look the same on every device and are the standard for invoices, statements, contracts and reports. Digital PDFs store real text; scanned PDFs store images of pages. All PDF tools →

HTML to PDF – frequently asked questions
Is this HTML to PDF converter free?
Yes. It is free to use with no signup and no watermark.
Can I use CSS?
Yes. Inline styles and <style> tags are supported, including colors, fonts, tables, flexbox and grid. Some advanced CSS features may render differently than in a browser.
Does it run JavaScript?
No. For security, scripts in your HTML are removed before rendering. Content that is created by JavaScript will not appear in the PDF.
Is the text in the PDF selectable?
No. Each page is saved as a high-quality image, so the PDF looks exactly like the rendered HTML, but text cannot be selected or searched.
Can I convert a website URL?
Not directly. Paste the HTML code of the page instead. Images from other websites only appear if that website allows it.
Is my HTML uploaded?
No. Your HTML is rendered and converted in your browser. Nothing is uploaded to a server.
