How Sehnna avoids the upload
When you click “Convert to Excel”, the conversion code runs on your own phone or computer. Your PDF is read from your device, turned into a spreadsheet in your browser's memory and offered as a download. Nothing is sent to us.
You can check this yourself: open your browser's developer tools, switch to the Network tab and convert a file. You will see that your PDF is never sent anywhere.

Does no-upload mean lower quality?
No. The same table detection runs in your browser. For digital PDFs the result is a normal XLSX file with rows, columns and real numbers.
Does it work with scanned PDFs?
Not yet. OCR and AI extraction are coming soon. Current PDF to Excel works best with digital PDFs that contain selectable text or tables.
