Can I convert Word to PDF?

Not yet. Word conversion can't be done reliably in the browser, so we don't offer it rather than offering a poor result.

Can I convert scanned PDFs?

Combining scanned PDFs and converting them to JPG works, and Compress PDF often makes color or grayscale scans much smaller. Extracting text from scans (OCR) is coming soon.
