Photo to Excel: From Phone Photo to Spreadsheet
Snapping a photo of a printed table, a whiteboard or a handwritten list is quick. Typing it into Excel afterwards is not. Photo to Excel will turn those pictures into editable spreadsheets.
This feature is not available yet.
Coming soon
OCR and AI extraction are coming soon. Current PDF to Excel works best with digital PDFs that contain selectable text or tables.
How to take photos that convert well
- Hold the phone straight above the page so the table is not tilted.
- Use daylight or bright, even light without shadows.
- Fill the frame with the table and keep it in focus.
- Take one photo per page.
Useful today
If you need to send the photos to someone, combine them into one document with JPG to PDF – it runs in your browser and works right now. If the data exists digitally (for example as an export from an app), convert that file instead.

Photo to Excel – questions and answers
Can Sehnna turn a photo into an Excel file today?
Not yet. OCR and AI extraction are coming soon.
Will handwritten tables work?
Handwriting is much harder to read than printed text. Printed tables will be the main focus first.
What can I do with my photos right now?
You can combine them into one PDF with JPG to PDF, for free and without uploading.
Do I need to sign up to be notified?
No. Sehnna has no accounts or mailing list. Simply check back on this page – it will be updated when the feature is released.
