From raw export to readable table
Exports from online shops, CRMs, accounting software or analytics tools arrive as CSV – fine for spreadsheets, but hard to read or print. The converter turns the rows into a PDF table with a highlighted header row, alternating row colours, grid lines and page numbers. Wide tables switch to landscape automatically, and very wide ones continue on extra pages.
What is recognised
Values are printed exactly as they appear in the file – no sums or number formatting are added. To calculate with the data first, open the CSV in Excel with CSV to Excel.
- Comma, semicolon, tab and pipe separators.
- Quoted values with commas or line breaks inside.
- UTF-8 and older Windows (ANSI) encodings, so umlauts and accents come out right.
- Arabic cells are shaped correctly and aligned to the right.

CSV to PDF – frequently asked questions
How do I turn a CSV file into a printable PDF table?
Choose your CSV or TSV file, set “First row”, “Orientation” and “Page size”, and click “Convert to PDF”. You download a PDF table with grid lines, alternating row colours and page numbers.
My CSV uses semicolons. Does that work?
Yes. The separator – comma, semicolon, tab or pipe – is detected automatically from the first lines of the file. Quoted values that contain the separator or a line break stay in one cell.
What does “First row: Is the header row” do?
The first row of your CSV becomes a highlighted header row that is repeated at the top of every page. Choose “Is data” if your file has no column names – then all rows are printed as normal table rows.
What happens with a CSV that has many columns?
With “Automatic” orientation, files with more than 6 columns are set in landscape, and the font gets smaller as the number of columns grows. Tables with more than 16 columns continue on additional pages.
Are Arabic and accented characters supported?
Yes. Noto Sans and Noto Sans Arabic are embedded in the PDF, so accents, umlauts, Greek, Cyrillic and Arabic appear correctly; Arabic cells are aligned to the right. Files saved as UTF-8 and older Windows (ANSI) CSV files are both recognised.
Does CSV to PDF format numbers or add totals?
No. Every value is printed exactly as it is written in the file – no number formatting, sums or sorting are added. To calculate with the data first, open it with CSV to Excel.
Can I print the CSV table on US Letter paper?
Yes. Choose “US Letter” under “Page size”; the default is A4. Each page gets a page number in the bottom right corner, such as 2 / 5.
Why do I get “This CSV file has no data”?
The file is empty or contains only empty rows, so there is nothing to put in a table. Empty rows inside an otherwise filled file are simply skipped.
Does converting a CSV to PDF upload my data?
No. The table is built in your browser and the CSV never leaves your device. Only the fonts for the PDF are downloaded from our website when the conversion starts, so you need an internet connection.
Is there a file size limit for CSV to PDF?
Yes, each CSV file can be up to 20 MB. Converting is free and needs no signup.
