Remove exactly the pages you don't need
The previews show every page, so you can see what you delete instead of guessing page numbers. Tap a page and it is marked in red; tap it again to keep it. For long documents, type ranges such as “2, 5-7”, or mark the few pages to keep and use “Invert selection”.
The remaining pages are copied unchanged in their original order. Text stays selectable and images keep their quality. Your original file is not changed – you download a new PDF.
Common reasons to delete PDF pages
To make sure no empty file is created, you can't delete every page – at least one page always remains.
- Blank pages and back sides from a scanner.
- Cover pages, advertising pages or terms you don't need to forward.
- Pages with personal data before you share a document.
- Shortening a report or application to the relevant pages.

Delete PDF Pages – frequently asked questions
How do I delete pages from a PDF?
Open your PDF, tap the pages you want to remove so they turn red, then click the button “Delete … & download PDF” (for example “Delete 2 pages & download PDF”). The new PDF contains all other pages in their original order.
How do I delete a range of pages, such as pages 5 to 7?
Type the pages into “Or enter page numbers”, for example “5-7” or “2, 5-7, 10”, and click “Mark”. You can separate numbers with commas, semicolons or spaces. All marked pages are then deleted in one step.
How do I delete all pages except a few?
Tap the few pages you want to keep and click “Invert selection” – now every other page is marked for deletion. Alternatively, use Extract PDF pages, where you select the pages to keep directly.
How do I remove blank pages from a scanned PDF?
Look through the previews and tap each blank page; there is no automatic blank-page detection. Every page is shown as a small preview, so empty back sides from a scanner are easy to spot.
I marked the wrong page – how do I undo it?
Tap the page again to keep it, or click “Clear selection” to start over. If you already downloaded the new PDF, click “Change selection”, adjust the marked pages and download again. Your original file is never changed.
Why can’t I delete every page of my PDF?
A PDF needs at least one page, so the tool does not create an empty file. If every page is marked, it asks you to unmark at least one page before you can continue.
Does deleting pages make the PDF file smaller?
Usually yes, because content that only appeared on the deleted pages is not copied into the new file. The remaining pages are not compressed, though. For a much smaller file, run the result through Compress PDF.
Can I delete pages from a PDF on my phone?
Yes. Open this page in your phone’s browser, choose the PDF and tap the previews of the pages you want to remove. You can start tapping while the remaining previews are still loading.
Is there a file size limit for deleting pages?
Yes, the PDF can be up to 50 MB, because every page is shown as a preview in your browser. Deleting pages is free, with no signup and no watermark.
Can I remove pages with personal information without uploading the PDF?
Yes. The previews and the new PDF are created in your browser, so the document never leaves your device. Your original file stays unchanged.
