How it works
How to extract pages from a PDF
- 1
Open your PDF – all pages appear as previews.
- 2
Tap the pages you want, or type page numbers like “3-7, 12”.
- 3
Click “Extract” and download the new PDF with only those pages.
Supported file types: PDF · No signup required
Take out only what you need
A 60-page contract when you only need to send the signature page, a full report when your colleague needs chapter three, a year of statements when one month is enough – extracting saves you from sending everything. Select the pages in the previews, and they are copied into a new PDF in their original order.
The selected pages are copied unchanged, so text stays selectable and images keep their quality. The original PDF on your device is not modified.
Extract, split or delete?
- Extract: you choose a few pages and get one new PDF with only those.
- Split PDF: the whole document is cut into equal parts, one file per part.
- Delete pages: you remove a few pages and keep everything else.

Extract PDF Pages – frequently asked questions
How do I extract pages from a PDF?
Open your PDF, tap the pages you want to keep so they turn green, then click “Extract … as new PDF” (for example “Extract 3 pages as new PDF”). You download a new PDF with only those pages.
How do I extract a range of pages, such as pages 3 to 7?
Type “3-7” into “Or enter page numbers to extract” and click “Mark”. You can also combine single pages and ranges, like “1, 4, 9-12”.
Can I extract several separate PDFs from one file?
Yes, one after the other. After downloading the first PDF, click “Change selection”, choose the next pages and extract again – no need to open the file a second time. To cut the whole document into equal parts in one go, use Split PDF.
In which order are the extracted pages saved?
Always in their original order, no matter in which order you tap them. Selecting page 9 before page 2 still gives you page 2 first.
Does extracting remove the pages from my original PDF?
No. The selected pages are copied into a new file named like “contract-extracted.pdf”; your original PDF stays complete and unchanged. If you want the opposite – a copy without certain pages – that is what deleting pages does.
Do extracted pages keep their quality?
Yes. The pages are copied exactly as they are, so text stays selectable and images keep their resolution. Bookmarks of the original document are not included in the new PDF.
Can I extract pages from a PDF as JPG images?
Not on this page – the result is always a PDF. Extract the pages you need here first, then turn them into images with PDF to JPG, which saves every page of a PDF as a JPG.
How do I put pages from different PDFs into one file?
Extract the pages you need from each PDF one by one, then join the extracted files with Combine PDF. The combined file keeps the order in which you list the files.
Is there a file size limit for extracting pages?
Yes, the PDF can be up to 50 MB, since every page is shown as a preview. Extracting is free, with no signup and no watermark.
Can I extract a page from a confidential PDF without uploading it?
Yes. The previews and the new PDF are made in your browser, so the full document never leaves your device – handy for sending just the signature page of a contract.
